RackFoundry 19-Inch Home-Lab 12U Open-Frame Server Kit

This kit is for home-labbers with real servers: full-depth rack machines, GPU boxes and storage chassis that will not fit in a wall cabinet. It is built on the StarTech 12U 4-post open-frame rack, which adjusts from 560mm to 1010mm deep, carries up to 544kg and rolls on castors.

We add a Lindy UK vertical PDU with a UK mains plug, a StarTech 2U vented cantilever shelf for a tower PC, desktop NAS or switch, a CE 24-port Cat6 1U patch panel and two 1U blanking panels to keep the front tidy and airflow going the right way.

Four posts mean server rail kits are properly supported front and rear. The open frame gives excellent cooling but no doors or dust protection, so it is best in a garage, loft room or office. It ships flat-packed from one UK partner, free to UK mainland addresses, usually within 1-2 working days, and needs assembly.
