StarTech 12U 4-Post Adjustable-Depth Mobile Open Server Rack
If your home lab includes full-depth rack servers, this is the rack to buy. The StarTech 12U 4-post open frame has adjustable depth from 560mm to 1010mm, so it takes everything from short network gear to enterprise 2U servers with rails, such as a Dell PowerEdge R730 class machine.
Four posts support equipment front and rear, which is what full-depth servers and rail kits need, and StarTech rates the frame for a load of 544kg. Castors make it easy to roll the rack out from a wall or under a desk for maintenance.
The open design gives excellent airflow but no dust protection, doors or lock. Mounting uses M6 fixings. It ships flat-packed by courier (about 26.3kg) from our UK partner to UK mainland addresses, usually within 1-2 working days.
